Well, polymer clay is a man made clay that can be sculpted into figurines, dolls, jewellery, and many household items such as switch plates, votive candle holders, and so much more. Best of all it can be baked in an 'ordinary oven' usually at 275 degrees F. (No kiln required.) It is extremely easy to mold which makes it a favourite for kids and adults.
