Hello Again
I have been slaving over a hot 'pasta maker' for the past week, coming up with all sorts of new
projects for you to try.  Lots of thing going on this month.  St. Patrick's Day, Easter, March
Break (see 'link' at bottom of page)  and SPRING!   Hooooooraaaaaayyyyy!

For the month of March, I am teaching classes on the most popular days from past classes.
These are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  I am also offering a  Saturday class and classes
for March Break.
For those of you who have not been to the studio before, I would like to invite you to come out
and see what polymer clay is all about.   Check out the class times and dates.  If they are not
suitable to your schedule, give me a call.   I'm flexible, I can always work you in as long as
there is a minimum of 3 students.

Some Great News!
My "Grapevine Switch Plate' design (see pic below)
will be 'ON THE COVER' of 'Craft and Home Magazine' and one of the projects
that we are doing this month will also be in the same magazine, different issue.
I'm now officially 'published'.
As soon as I receive a copy from Polyform I'll scan it in and send
you an email with the picture.

Now Let's get on with the business of 'claying!'
Here are the brand new classes......Hope you enjoy them!

Funky Votive Candle Holder
I have had so much interest in learning how to create 'clay
millefiori canes' I have decided to teach a few classes this
month.
A 'cane' looks like a 'log' which has a clay image running
through it.
We will be doing a couple of different designs, such as a
'flower cane' and 'jelly roll cane'. You can take thin 'slices'
from the canes and add them to your glass votive.  Save the
remaining canes and cover items like switch plates, beads or
even cutlery.
Here is a 'leaf' cane
which we did in
February.
Top:  Log with leaf
image running through
it.
Bottom:  Slices of 2
different
'leaf canes'.
Wednesday, March 9th.....6 pm......$12.00
Ya Just got to love HIM!
Good Old Charlie Brown
Create this lovable character  step by step with me.  I just love him!
Why, you could even give him his own football.  Who knows, maybe Lucy won't snatch it
away  next time.     Yeah, RIGHT!
Friday, March 11th......6 pm.............$12.00
Designer 'Pot-O-Bug'
Design your very own 'one of a kind' Pot-O-Bug!  NO PAINT.....just CLAY!
Remember about the 'millefiori' designs?  We are doing it again and applying them
to pots.  Each one will be totally unique.  I've done one in red and the other in
yellow, but you can choose your own colours and I'll help you with your 'millefiori
canes'.
Your Designer Bug will be the 'Talk of the Town'.
Tuesday, March 15th....6 pm......$12.00
The One and ONLY........SNOOPY!
Where would Charlie Brown be without his best friend Snoopy?
Here he is, just looking around, but you can pose your Snoopy anyway you like.
Give him a couple of accessories and he's all set.
Wednesday, March 16th....6 pm......$12.00
Is it a plane?  Is it a train? No it's Turtle Pot Pal!
Yes, I know.....Millefiori Canes again.  Well, that's just my
version of a 'cool turtle', but you can design him any way you
want.  Personally, I think he looks great in 'flowers'.
Thursday, March 17th.....6 pm.........$10.00
'Top of the Mornin' To Ya!'
It's St. Patrick's Day so we just HAVE to make a Leprechaun.
Don't forget his pot of gold!

come prepared, wearing
'GREEN!'

Erupting Volcano!
Oooooooh......Aaaaaaaah!
That's right......it erupts!   Well, it will if you 'add a little something'.

of film canisters to do this project.  Thanks Steph!

Mysterious Wall Hanging
See if your friends can figure out what these mysterious symbols mean.
Can you figure it out?   Is it oriental?  Egyptian perhaps?
I need to thank Storm Peschel for giving me this idea.  He made a similar one with ink
for his mom Georgia.
Give up?    See clues below.
