Just because it's hot doesn't mean that we can't be creative.
Here are some of the classes planned for this summer. Other's will follow
as my mind comes up with them.
IMPORTANT....PLEASE NOTE: I'm going to try something a little different
this time. Instead of listing 'dates' for classes, I'm only listing prices. If you
are interested in any of the classes, PLEASE contact me with the dates that
you would be available to take the class. When I have a minimum of 3
students interested in the same class then I will call you to arrange a time
and date that is convenient for all.
Let's see how this works for now. Many of you were missing out on classes
in the past because the dates were not fitting into your schedule. I hope
that this might be a solution.
Times for classes: Since it is 'summer', that is also flexible. Day or evening
classes are fine with me as long as there are at least 3 students and the air
conditioner keeps on working. :o)
Here are the pics of classes so far:
1 1/2 hr. class (approx.)...........$12.00
These butterflies look difficult, but they are as simple as pie. I have a 'secret technique'
involving a 'clay gun'. No 'two' will ever be the same.
You pick your favourite colours of clay, put them together, send them through the 'clay
gun' and I'll show you how to create these super designs.
Make THREE!
Turn them into a magnet, pin and pendant.
1 1/2 hr. class (approx.).......$10.00
You LOVED the movie, now make the character.
This will be the 1st character from the movie. Others will follow. Why not start a
'collection'.
Great one for 'birthday parties'.
2 hr. class ..........$15.00
Don't you just get sick of seeing the same old monkey, over and over again? I do.
So I decided to 'jazz' him up a bit.
He's a biggy. Quite the conversation piece.
1 1/2 hr. class (approx.) $10.00
Create a one-of-a-kind Switchplate for your room.
Pick designs from my many polymer clay 'canes'.
Combine checkerboard canes with flower canes and spirals. Whatever you want.
Impress your friends. Just let me know what type of switch plate you will require....

2 hr. class........$15.00
For all of you who do not know what 'faux' means.....It means 'fake'. It looks like real bone
because of a layering of white, translucent and beige polymer clay technique. You may want to
try your hand at embellishing it further. Adding a design to each panel would look great too.
2 hr. Class.......$12.00
Please note that NO POLYMER CLAY was injured in the making of this frame.
Why? Because I didn't use ANY! Ha ha ha!
That's right! I used only good old junk.....such as broken shells, nuts and bolts,
screws, washer, small pieces of rock, macaroni, old beads and buttons. Anything
that has 'texture'. Take a good look at the transformation! I've had so many
wonderful comments on this project from family and friends.
If you are interested in doing this project........BRING YOUR OWN JUNK!
Go on a scavenger hunt in and around your house. You will be amazed at what
you can find and it's so much fun.

This should be a 'fun' project for everyone. You create an underwater scene with
clay and paint. But not just an 'ordinary' scene. No no.....it's a 'magnetic' scene,
complete with a 'magnetic' clownfish (similar to 'what's his name')
that actually swims around the jar. Ooooooooh! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
Only one requirement to sign up for this class.
You have to
'bring your own JAM JAR'. (Washed and without the label please.)
PLEASE NOTE: I already have ONE student signed up. We only need 2 more to
do the class.

Great class for ADULTS!
The ink cartridge can be replaced over and over.
Not for the younger set. Very sharp blades involved.
Learn how to make a flower design in clay. Apply very thin slices of clay to the
outside of the pen, bake it and sand it to a glossy finish.
Come on out all of you 'PARENTS'. You CAN do it!
Please note: I have ONE brave parent already signed up. Bravo!

These characters take on a personality of their own.
Come on out and try one. They are like potatoe chips....you can't make just ONE!
They make great gifts too, especially if you 'personalize' them.

This is the second time that I have offered this type of painting and
the results have been spectacular.
Using a very limited palette you CAN create a very vibrant painting
that will astonish your friends.
