Adult, Teens and Children's Polymer Clay Classes with Marie Redmond at the Georgina Art Centre and Gallery 149 High Street, Sutton On (905) 722-9587 Please register early
Upcoming Workshops - It all depends on YOU! Here are sample projects that I have been working on in my Walter Drive studio. I love to take ordinary everyday objects and convert them to 'one of a kind' decor items. Most of these projects have been created very easily with the use of several colours of clay, rubber stamps (no ink), and sharp blades. If you would be interested in learning about this art form please contact me at (905-476-2653).
Examples of Home Decor Items
Another Example Another example of using up clay scraps, rubber stamping and turning them into one of a kind pieces. No two pieces will be alike and that is what makes it so much fun.
Vase #1 Glass covered in 'rose cane' and 'leaf' design. I experimented with the scrap clay that I had left and came up with Vase #2.
Vase #2 Created from 'scraps' from Vase #1 and using special rubber stamp technique which I will teach you.
More examples below of just what you can create with this 'new' technique. Here I have combined some polymer metallic or pearl clays and gold leaf. The project on the far left is clay over glass. The other 3 are clay over wood.
